PLAYA DEL CARMEN, MX – The final day of the Cancun Challenge is complete, with two teams taking home wins. South Dakota State got out in front early and never looked back taking down Kansas State to move to 1-2 in the Challenge. North Carolina followed suit, competitng in a back in fourth afair in which the Tarheels did not get a commanding lead until the fourth quarter. UNC moves to 3-0 at the Cancun Challenge.
South Dakota State 82, Kansas State 70
The South Dakota State women's basketball team ended its trip to Cancun with an 82-70 win over Kansas State Saturday. SDSU had three players finish with double-digit scoring totals, paced by 18 points from Brooklyn Meyer. The senior had an efficient outing, finishing 7-of-9 from the floor and 4-for-4 from the charity stripe. She also tallied eight rebounds, six assists and a pair of blocks, all team highs.

Columbia 63, University of North Carolina 80
The UNC women's basketball team had three players with 15+ points including leading scorer Lanie Grant who hit two threes while contributing four asists and rebounds. The Tarheels led by four points at the break but managed to have a fourth quarter when they outscored Columbia 23-14.
